Chand Baori is a very old wells once with stunning views and with the famous step well in India. Located near the village of Abhaneri near Jaipur in Rajasthan State, India. Chand Baori is built around the year 800 A.m. by King Nikumbha dynasty of Chanda. This place is one of the deepest and largest step wells in India with 3500 narrow steps in 13 stories and a depth of 30 meters. The State of Rajasthan is very dry and Chand Baori is intended to conserve water as much as possible. At the bottom of the well, the air has 5 to 6 degrees cooler than at the surface, and this place was used as a gathering place for local residents during the summer for drinking water here. The well is no longer used, but it makes for interesting guests to an impressive architectural structure and is more than 1000 years are not in use. In this place there is also a shrine adjacent to the well and one of the most favorite in the head. The steps surrounding the well there are three sides and while the fourth side features a pavilion built one on top. The side that has the Pavilion has recessed with beautiful statues including a sculpture carving is fabulous. In this place there was also a royal residence with rooms for the King and Queen and the stage for a very special art performances.
