Rainbow Beach is a beach and a town in the South East of Queensland, Australia and with scenery. This beach is located 75 km from the city of Gympie and the Bruce Highway 239 km from the State capital of Queensland, Brisbane. The Rainbow Beach is very clean and lots of surf players. The town’s name comes from a rainbow-colored sand dunes and according to legend, the Kabi people dunes when colored Yiningie, the spirit represented by a rainbow, plunged into the cliffs after doing battle with an evil tribesman.
