Wadi Mujib is a wonderful gorge with views of the stunning canyons in Jordan. Nestled in the mountains just east of the Dead Sea and about 93 km south of Amman. The Gorge is entering the Dead Sea at 418 meters below sea level. Mujib reserve is the lowest nature reserve in the world. Created in 1987 by the Royal Society for nature conservation and regional and international and especially for bird life supporting nature reserve. Wadi Mujib covers an area of approximately 200 square kilometers. This nature reserve extends to the Kerak and Madaba mountains to the North and South, with a height of about 910 m above sea level. And have the water flow all year from seven creeks, this nature reserve has more than 300 species of plants, 10 species of carnivores and numerous species of birds. Some areas of the mountain and the Valley is difficult to reach the remote but can be reached only by climbing a mountain, and offer safe havens for rare species of cats, goats and other animals. The slopes in the nature reserve is very steep and supports several mammals, including the Rock Hyraxes, Eurasian Badger and most importantly, Nubian Ibex, a mountain goat. This nature reserve is also a bed on top of a Palm tree to see the beauty of this place.
