Zhangjiajie national park tourism
Zhangjiajie is a new emerging tourism city located on the border of Hunan province. Zhangjiajie is famous throughout the world for their views of the pure and strong Government policy on tourism infrastructure construction lately has encouraged the tourism industry in the region and making it one of the uniqueness of the new and popular tourist destinations in China. It covers an area of 9.663 square kilometers and has a population of 1.78 million, and 60% of which belongs to Tujia, Bai and Miao minorities. Despite not being a coastal city, is rich in water resources. Zhangjiajie tourist town is excited. Ninety Percent of the city, approximately 510 square kilometers, has been considered the views of the national as well as provincial nature reserve. Unique beautiful places and historical sites such as the Yuhuang Temple, Puguang Cave, along with the former residence are famous for Her Long and Du Xinwu. Overall, this area has become an attractive tourist destination. Folk customs of minority people’s premises and Kong Fu (art Materials) are popular both at home and abroad.
The main tourist attraction of Zhangjiajie’s Wulingyuan Scenic Area on UNESCO World Heritage list for the lush vegetation, unique sandstone pillars, pure water and various species of flora and fauna. It contains three major tourist attractions including the Zhangjiajie Forest Park, Mountain and Suoxi Tianzi Mountain Vale, with a coverage amount of 400 square kilometers. Zhangjiajie, enjoying a modest climate, abundant sunshine, rainfall is flush, fertile soil and rich tourism resources. There are five entrances around the mountains of Zhangjiajie. Two of the main entrance is the village of Zhangjiajie in the West side of the Park, and the entrance of Wulingyuan in the East. Most of the hotels and accommodations found here. The area is also home to several ethnic groups, TuBai and Miao minority groups inhabit the area, adding an element of culture and history that is very specific to each visit to this place.
